Exploring Photoshop CS3

I had to purchase this book for a class (Digital Imaging), which I came to with about twenty years of Graphic Design experience already under my belt -- so to be honest, there was not a single piece of information in this book that I didn't already know.However, I can still remember fumbling with Photoshop's earlier incarnations when it was new to me (oh so many years ago), and I also remember *wishing* I had a book that could teach me the fundamentals.

This book is excellent for beginners and intermediate users,shows you all the tools and how to use them, in a step by step, simple way. This book is expensive but it is worth it.

I purchased this book for a Photoshop course. I kid you not this book started coming apart the 2nd week of class.
